INFORMATION

Named after the Jan Lahofer, Dobšice-native art carver and author of a unique baroque library, created at the end of the 18th century and the jewel of the Premonstratensian monastery in Strahov, Prague. strong winemaking tradition in the Znojmo region, further developed using the state-of-the-art wine-making techniques and technologies. Production of the winery consists of a full scale of the major Central European varieties, made exclusively from grapes of their own vineyards, with an exception for their special edition of French-wines, and also part of the grapes sold to another wine producers. After the purchase of another vineyard and retrofitting the winery with modern technology, the estimated production capacity of the winery was set to a maximum of 800 thousand bottles anualy. The winery range of products recently extended for a non-alcoholic 100% grape must and single-variety jam, also made from grapes.

The top line of wines from the Lahofer winery is available at wine shops, wholesalers, hotels and restaurants, specialized stores and over the Internet, but in no way, they are available at large retail chains. The winery decided mostly produce the premium wines, and take well care of the production as a whole, as is expected also from traders and dealers who offer those wines to the customers.
